Conservative Donnybrook

Just when you think they are content sitting up in the North Atlantic minding their own business they pull something like this.

Lawrence O’Donnell had a meltdown on the McLaughlin Group regarding Mormonism. O’Donnell, in commenting on Romney recent speech on religion, called all Mormons racists and extended this charge to Mitt Romney. And, if you hang in there to the very end of the clip, he hurls out our personal favorite around here, he calls all Mormons anti-American.

Amazingly, in the process, he momentarily leaves Pat Buchanan speechless, which is one heck of an accomplishment.

This endorsement is as disgusting as it is filled with B.S.   Romney a conservative…maybe in Massachusetts!  I would encourage the good folks at National Review to remove their lips from the backside of the elephant and try staring a real conservative in the face.

In an era where common sense seems to have vanished and the political divide has become a vast canyon, the Supreme Court has stepped forward to show that a consensus can be reached.The issue is whether trading illegal drugs for a gun constitutes “using” the gun in the commission of a crime (thank you, Cornell, for the link) which would ratchet up the mandatory sentencing of the alleged criminal.  The decision was unanimous and, I believe, 100% correct.
