Oh, I see. Well then I agree with you; as I said, I don't buy Obama as an antiwar figure.

haha, no I don't think war with Russia is upon us. I was referring to the two very public wars we are currently fighting as well as some of the more clandestine ones I have my suspicions about.
Really, my point is that Republican or Democrat, the next president will at least continue the two wars we have right now.

Bill, I'm glad we agree on McCain's socialism. As for my dig about Russia, it wasn't aimed at you specifically.

I obviously disagree with your belief that war with Russia "is upon us" but I'll leave it at that rather than open that can of worms. But I have no illusions of Obama as an antiwar candidate.

I agree, Willmoore that conservatives need not vote for McCain. I would actually take that one step farther and say that conservatives may not vote for McCain. He is complacent in the destruction of the free market, the forced take over of private entities and the redistribution of wealth from the middle class to some of the rich cheating bankers, CEOs and political leaders of the world. McCain is no conservative: He is and always has been an angry liberal set on destroying the protected liberties enshrined in the Constitution.

As to war with Russia (gee, I wonder to whom you aimed that slur), I have not heard anyone argue for this or that anyone "regard[s] that as a plus." Besides, do you really think that Obama is less likely to engage in another war? Boy, you must have eaten the magic mushroom on this one! War is upon us, the next president will fight them no matter his political affiliation.
