Or at least his Secretary of the Treasury did. It appears that the $700 billion that was appropriated to purchase assets of failed financial institutions will now be used to prop up credit card companies and student loan providers.
And now they expect us to trust them when it comes to bailing out other industries? Seems they’re a little free with our money, folks. If the government is going to pay our credit card bills, does that mean we should stop paying?

I hope they bail me out of my student loans.

They should at least make the minimmum annual payments completely tax deductible and not just the interest paid.

How dare you criticize our President and/or his Cabinet members. They [lied in order to get Congress to] put thousands of men in harm’s way to defend your right to call them liars, I’ll have you know. I can’t believe you would have the gall to question their [nonexistent] credibility. The facts on the ground changed. They support free-market capitalism [even while proposing a $25 billion bailout for GM], just ask the G20. I am disgusted and am cancelling my subscription to your paper. You left wing, anti-American long-hairs make me want to puke. Our President needs our support to save us from this crisis and to win this war before Barack HUSSEIN Obama comes to office [and continues the bailouts and interventionist wars].
You, sir, should be [absolutely un-]ashamed. Love it or leave it, bud.
